Can a Data Repository Survive a Crisis? Development of the Repository Crisis Scorecards

The authors developed Repository Crisis Scorecards to help data repository staff evaluate how well their systems could withstand crisis scenarios. The toolkit was created during a March 2025 sprint, drawing on prior scorecard methodology. This resource is intended to help established repositories, informal data collectors, and other dataset managers strengthen long-term data publication and preservation planning and resilience against disruption.
